PandemoniUM has had an amazing semester. Whether it had been performing with our fellow UMD groups for cancer research, having a blast down in North Carolina with Twisted Measure, or entertaining the ever so welcoming crowd at the CARET/AHS conference in D.C., we have made a lot of progress as a group this semester and we are going to wrap it all up with one final show on May 4th. Not only are we sounding our best, it will be the last time you can hear our graduating seniors Adam Kruszewski, Ankeet Presswala, and Erika Anderson. I hope you will be able to support us, either in spirit or in person!!

It’s gonna be a magical night, we hope you can make it!!

PandemoniUM has once again started tirelessly preparing their new set for the semester. With our cooley high harmonies and bass lines that can run marathons, this set is sure to deliver and exceed your a cappella expectations. We will be showcasing new songs from Ellie Goulding, Zedd, Olly Murs, and more!!

This semester the show will be on Sunday, March 3rd, 2013 at 5 PM in the Hoff Theater at Stamp.

The semester is now underway, and PandemoniUM rehearsals have already started. We have a great line up of events this semester, and we would like to invite you to a few (or all) of them!

PandemoniUM Auditions: Wednesday, January 30th, 2013 @ 7:00 PM in CSPAC Room 3164.
For anyone who loves to sing or beatbox acappella music! Come audition for the most smokin’ acappella group at College Park; we’re looking for new people to add to our awesome family!Have a 30-60 second solo prepared that best showcases your vocal talent. Any genre is fine – whatever makes you sound best!

The Generic’s A Cappella Bash: Friday, February 22nd, 2013 in Stamp.
Check our Facebook Page periodically for updates as more information. This is a great show if you would like to see a variety of different a cappella groups within the University of Maryland (and maybe some outside groups!). The pandas will be performing a 3 song set.

PandemoniUM’s Mid-Semester Show: Sunday, March 3rd @ 5:00 PM in the Hoff Theatre in Stamp.
This is the first opportunity for PandemoniUM to showcase what they have prepared throughout the semester thus far. It will also be our first concert with our new members! We will be featuring new songs by Ellie Goulding, Kimbra, Olly Murs, and more. We will also be featuring a guest group, and tickets will be $5 at the door for students, and $8 for non-students.

Relay for Life: Saturday, April 20th, 2013 at Ludwig Field.
“This event brings everyone together to fight for the same cause: a cure for cancer. You will see university athletes, sororities, fraternities, survivors, friends from floors of their dorms, professors, cancer survivors and many other clubs and organizations walk together all night, at our very own Ludwig Field, remembering that Cancer Never Sleeps. The event will have music, performances, sports tournaments, games and more.” The pandas will be performing a 3 song set.

If you aren’t able to make it to our Mid-Semester show, this will be your last chance to hear us before summer break. We will be going all out for this show! After rehearsing for a whole semester with our new members, this show will be sure to entertain. More new songs by Sugar Ray, Morning Parade, and more will provide a variety to our set, so you will not be disappointed. We will be featuring a different guest group, and tickets will be $5 at the door for students and $8 for non-students.

The wait has been long enough! After about year of recording, mixing, mastering and producing PandemoniUM’s 5th CD, it will finally be released. It includes our ICCA Quarterfinal winning set of Iris, Chicago/Clocks mash up and Therapy as well as many other songs.

This is PandemoniUM at its finest– if you enjoy a cappella at all, this is a must have. They will be sold for $15. Keep an eye out for the link to buy them on iTunes, or you may purchase them at one of our shows.

Our first ever charity event went swimmingly! We were able to showcase 6 amazing groups including PandemoniUM: The Georgetown Saxatones, University of Maryland Faux Paz, George Washington Vibes, Haverford OutSkirts, and our good friends Twisted Measure from Elon University!

Furthermore, we were able to raise over $380.00 for At Jacob’s Well, the benefitting charity organization. Thanks to each group for performing, and everyone  in attendance for their support.

We hope to see you all at our Mid-Semester show on Friday, October 26th @ 8:30 in the Chapel!
